Best Western Lakewood

We thought we'd booked a room with a separate living room, but it was just one big room. It was pretty plain, with only one chair in front of the TV, though the space might work well if you need a walker or wheelchair. The main problem was the cold. We kept the heater on high all night and neither of us warmed up.

The location was convenient, but the stay was mediocre. We were there for 4 nights, and nobody cleaned our rooms the whole time. We had to go to the office ourselves for fresh towels and toiletries. The heat didn't work in our second room, and we were told nothing could be done.

Everything else was okay, and it was handy to be able to park right in front of the room. But the towels were dirty, and the sheets seemed really unsanitary, with what looked like blood stains.

The breakfast was good and the price was reasonable, but I won't stay here again. The room was very dirty, housekeeping had failed, and there was mold in the shower. Cars gathered right outside the rooms every night, making so much noise it was hard to sleep. The pool wasn't heated and felt cold even on a 100-degree day. Its 4 ft deep end was labeled 5 ft, which seemed weird and unsafe.
