Hampton Inn & Suites North Port

I travel a lot, both here and abroad, and the staff at this Hampton Inn are some of the kindest and most helpful I’ve come across. The rooms are roomy, clean, and comfortable. There’s also a nice lounge for a glass of wine at the end of the day. It’s a wonderful hotel.

We went to see the venue about a month and a half ago for a big birthday celebration, and since then it’s been one runaround after another. We were told several times Jennifer would send the information, but it never arrived. Anthony was supposed to call me back, and that was over two weeks ago. I left messages, and my aunt followed up by email. Still, not one response. For an event this important, communication matters. The lack of follow-through and basic courtesy is unacceptable. If this is how they deal with potential bookings, I can’t imagine how they handle actual events. Definitely not reliable. I hope this helps someone.

The breakfast is great whether you’re there for business or vacation. Marie is so friendly and helpful in the mornings, and goes out of her way to do all sorts of things for people. She knows the folks who stay there every day. Thanks, Marie, for being so genuine and supportive. Keep it up, you’ve got excellent people skills. Love it.

The location, in a mall parking lot, is okay. The property is nice and clean, and the staff are very friendly. Heather at the front desk was polite and efficient. The woman at the breakfast bar made sure everything was right, like she was cooking for family.
