Super 8 by Wyndham Cleveland

The bed was probably the most comfortable hotel bed we've ever slept in, and the room was clean. The shower had great pressure and temperature, and the air conditioner worked well. One small catch: the pillows weren't very firm or fluffy, so you may want to bring your own. The AC is an energy saver, so I'd set it a few degrees cooler than usual in case the fan shuts off overnight. Staff were very welcoming. We'll be back soon.

The staff were nice, and there's plenty of parking, including a separate area for trucks. But the rooms were very dirty and smelled. Dust and some kind of spots were visible on the furniture and walls wherever I looked. They need a thorough cleaning and maybe renovation. The lobby carpet also had stains and needs a good cleaning.

We found ants all over the bed and desk, plus a potato bug on the floor. The place was filthy, and we didn't want to shower there or set foot anywhere else. After management had been away from the desk for an hour, they offered to let us use the shower in another room. The breakfast was terrible, and the coffee maker didn't work. I can't upload photos, apparently, but I'll be calling the health department.

Check-in went great, and the room seemed fine too. Then I opened the shower curtain the next morning and saw nasty hair stuck to the wall. How could whoever cleaned the room miss that? It was really, really gross.
