Bellissimo Hotel, Trademark by Wyndham Near Foxwoods Casino

The shuttle was excellent and on time, and the location is good. The seats were worn and ripped, though. The rest of our stay was a letdown. The bed was very uncomfortable, with cheap, thin-feeling linens and awful pillows that felt like an old bag of cotton balls. We expected to sleep better than at home, but it was the opposite. The room's Jacuzzi also wasn't where the website pictures showed it. It was in the bathroom beside the toilet, with a dirty ring around it. I rubbed it with a wet cloth and the dirt came off, so it hadn't been cleaned properly. We sat down at the hotel bar, but the bartender said they had to make a delivery. We waited another 10-15 minutes with no one serving us, then gave up. In the morning, the complimentary coffee bar had no sign showing what was available. We ordered lattes that tasted like flavored milk, and the girl serving them seemed unsure what she was doing. I'd rather pay a little for a good coffee than throw those away. At checkout, they handed over the receipt and said thanks, without asking how the stay had gone. The hotel has potential, but this was a very disappointing stay and a bad night's sleep.

I'm disabled and couldn't manage transferring into one of the king beds, so after we told the staff, they gladly brought a cot and upgraded our room for free. That was dope, and really accommodating. The room was nice and tidy, and the service was phenomenal. I had an amazing experience and would definitely come back.

We booked this at the last minute for New Year's Eve, our first time at the hotel, so we could stay overnight and go to Foxwoods. The free shuttle runs to the casino on the hour, and it was handy to have a ride back after a few cocktails, especially with the snow. Our king presidential suite was lovely, with high ceilings and tapestry draped from the ceiling to the headboard for a Victorian look. There was a fireplace by the bed, a TV above it, and a couch with a coffee table. The bed was comfortable, and we could relax there and log into Netflix. The huge bathroom had a walk-in shower and a separate jetted whirlpool tub with another TV, plus two vanities. The wall-mounted hair dryer, shower shampoo, conditioner and body wash, and lotion and hand soap by the vanities meant we didn't need to pack those. There was also a room safe, a coffee pot with coffee, and water in the fridge. The small bistro and bar served a good breakfast. Its menu was limited, and a 10% coupon was included. You can also add breakfast to the room cost at no charge. We didn't try the small pool, but it looked nice. We'd stay again. Thanks for a great visit 😊

We've been here several times since 2010, and this was the first visit that disappointed me. We booked through our credit card, but the room type came out wrong. The online pictures looked the same and the rooms cost the same, so we expected one with a tub. When we asked to switch to the other room, staff wanted another $60. I showed them the prices and matching pictures, but they wouldn't do anything unless we paid. We paid to avoid an argument. Our room included a free lounge appetizer. We went down for a drink and snack while waiting for the shuttle, but the staff were inattentive, and the mozzarella sticks were bland, clearly frozen and unseasoned. We were told the shuttle goes to the casino at the top of the hour, then picks up at quarter past and every 15 minutes when busy. We left the casino at the hour, but waited 45 minutes. The front desk then said they'd misspoken and it should have been quarter to the hour. The shuttle was run down, with ripped seats, and didn't make a good impression. The room was all right, with thin, plain linens, and the in-room Jacuzzi was nice. There were lots of mirrors, so be ready to see yourself if you take a bath.
