Extended Stay America Chicago Buffalo Grove Deerfield

The weekly price is very reasonable, and my small suite was clean and quiet, with a kitchenette and a great bathroom. The tub had unlimited hot water. Parking was well lit, the laundry room was convenient, and housekeeping and repairs were handled attentively. There are cameras inside, and DirecTV had a good selection. Sky Fitness, an upscale health club with spa amenities, and Woodman's giant 24-hour market are nearby. Thanks to GM Mark for being enthusiastic and professional, and to Joe and Tim for their customer service. Staff do enforce the indoor no-smoking rule, including fines and ending a stay, but they have a hard time keeping cigarette smokers away from the entrance 😐

The laundry room is always clean, and having Wholefoods right next door is so convenient. Thim sorted out my granddaughter’s reservation last Friday after the confirmation got lost. He cleared up the issue. Manager Mark is always friendly and helpful, and even helped me log on so I could post this review.

Joe and Mark got us a room for the rest of our stay after another ESA location was unprofessional and unwilling to help with our issue. I explained what had happened there, and they took charge and resolved it quickly. We can’t thank them enough for making the trip possible. ESA has two of the best employees!

Mark, the General Manager, was attentive to what we needed and exceptionally helpful. He handled everything very professionally and showed real empathy, which made our experience especially positive.
