My husband, our two children, and I were highly disappointed with our stay in Northport, Alabama. We paid $427.78 for two nights because of the Alabama game, and the rooms looked nothing like the pictures. The TV channels didn't work, the room felt dirty, and there were holes in the sheets on the pullout bed. There was rust on both the luggage rack and clothes hanging rack, plus broken hangers. I understand the hotel normally charges $40-$60 a night, but $400 for this was ridiculous. We misunderstood that the pool would be closed. The general manager said it was closed for the season, but the huge dead weed by the bench made it look like it hadn't been open or working for some time. I wouldn't recommend staying until it gets some minor updates.

DO NOT BOOK FOR GAMEDAY. I reserved a room in November 2025 for April 17-19 2026, for the Morgan wallen concert. Hotels nearby were already sold out or had jacked up their prices, but this property still had rooms. Two weeks later, they messaged me to say renovations had already been scheduled for those dates and I would need to cancel. On January 4 I got an email saying my reservation had been cancelled, even though I hadn't cancelled it. Now, on January 19, those dates are available on their website for three times the nightly price I originally booked. Terrible business ethic.

This is my regular choice whenever I'm in town, and they never let me down. The rooms are comfortable, the location is great, and the staff are amazing. Good rates too. Do yourself a favor and stay here.

The staff are great, and they kept my room clean and fresh. Service was quick, the water was hot, and the fridge stayed cold. Two thumbs way up!

The staff were nice to me and got me checked in quickly. The beds were comfortable, and I felt this hotel was safer and nicer than the other one in Tuscaloosa. I was pleased with my stay.
