Tubac is right outside the door, with galleries, shops and restaurants easy to reach on foot, and hiking and biking trails only minutes away. We came as a couple, but the gated courtyard and its two roomy casitas, one with a small kitchen, would be great for family gatherings or a girls’ trip. Book both and you get the fireplace courtyard and event space to yourselves. A perfect spot for all kinds of Tubac visits.

The locals were so friendly, and we had a lovely time exploring Tubac from the Blacksmiths House casitas. Shops, galleries, the museum, trails and tasty restaurants are all an easy walk away. The property itself has peaceful outdoor spots with plenty of room for morning coffee or evening drinks. Check out Friday karaoke and Saturday live music and dancing at Tubac Jacks. We’re already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend it.

Everything I wanted to do in Tubac was close enough to walk, so my car hasn't moved since I arrived. I stayed in Casita Roja, where parking was easy to access. Outside, there’s a shaded picnic table, a big umbrella, an outdoor fireplace with seating, a cactus water feature, and even an outdoor shower. With the Arizona architectural touches and Tubac’s dark skies, the courtyard is a great place to unwind beneath the stars. Indoors there’s a nicely furnished family area and a convenient kitchen. I’d gladly stay again.
