Hotel Saddleback

We had to switch out of our first room because the TV was completely broken. The second room was on the second floor, which was a hassle during my two-week stay at eight months pregnant. The carpet inside was as dirty as the pavement outside, so bring slippers. There were roaches everywhere, even in the rooms, and no fridge or microwave. This place is completely misleading. Don’t waste your money.

The mattresses were the worst part, more like box springs than actual mattresses. Prices are low, and expectations should be low too. Saddleback is a sprawling property with several buildings and pools. Our room was okay and cleanish, but it seemed like nothing had been renovated since opening, so it was only as clean as it could be. The air conditioner didn’t work, so I had to change rooms. The office is at the front of the property, and our room was in the farthest building. Luckily, I could move to another room in the same building and on the same floor. The front desk attendant wrote the wrong room number on the key sleeve, which was annoying. The pool areas looked decent from the distance where I saw them.

Great hotel, and Anaise was great too. Thanks! - Jesus

What a dump. The shower had no cold water, the beds were really uncomfortable, and the bathroom was trashy. There’s an empty space for a mini fridge, but no fridge. Customer service was horrible. I don’t recommend it.
