Motel 6 Norway, MI

I spent eight weeks here while I was in school, and I regret choosing this place. I have a bad back and asked for a ground-floor room for my stay. The manager refused, even though there were plenty of first-floor rooms available each week. Dealing with her was not a pleasant experience. Staff were very rude and unhelpful, and couldn’t answer anything without calling the manager. The rooms and facilities weren’t kept up or cleaned well, and they showed little concern for guests’ needs. The breakfast station wasn’t reliably restocked, including the hot chocolate. When I asked for more after it ran out, I was told that was something they only did in winter. It was still winter, with snow on the ground and temperatures in the low 20s, and this is the UP of Michigan. I won’t stay here again after the way I was treated and how run-down the place felt.

Getting in and out was easy, and the staff were really friendly. My room was clean and roomy, and the hot tub was just the right temperature.

The room was a great value for the price, and its location worked perfectly for what we needed. Everything was clean and nice, and the room itself was wonderful. The staff were friendly and pointed us toward some great places to eat. We’ll definitely stay here again.

The room was clean and great, with a Jacuzzi in it, and the staff were very friendly. My husband and I came from Texas to visit my mother, and while she watched our kids we spent a night at motel 6. The pictures were accurate, and we were impressed. The hot tub was fantastic and warm, while the pool wasn’t too cold, which I really appreciated with it only being 36 degrees outside. I’ll definitely come back next time I visit my mother.
