Stewart Mountain Lodging

My husband and I had a tiny, intimate wedding in Sundance Canyon, and our whole family stayed in two cabins on the same street. It was magical, and thanks to their team the weekend went so smoothly. Vicki was wonderful to work with, such a sweet person. I had lots of questions while arranging the stay for family and friends coming from out of state, and she was so patient and kind. The homes are incredibly beautiful and the views are out of this world. They also have a really cool story about how they started Steward Mountain Lodging. We had the best weekend, and you won't regret booking with them!

The family sledding hill we made right on the property was so much fun, and we love going tubing at Soldier Hollow too. We also always enjoy The Hollow and its zipline. Staying at Sundance with family has become an annual tradition, and it's the trip I look forward to every year. We've tried three different cabins, all equally comfortable and clean, with everything we need. Mornings by the wood burning fireplace with coffee and my family feel magical. Vicki and her team at Stewart Mountain Lodging are fantastic hosts, and SML is there to help whenever we need anything. Vicki always has great suggestions for things to do and places to go, and she's just lovely. We're so grateful for their hospitality and already looking forward to next year's vacation. The part that made this stay unforgettable was how the rental company handled a difficult time for our family. We'd planned the trip the year before, then had to reschedule after my father suffered a heart attack. Their team was kind, flexible, responsive, and proactive about making the arrangements seamless while we were stressed and emotional. They were compassionate, not just helpful. The cabin was a beautiful private retreat, secluded with breathtaking views and carefully designed. The fireplace made evenings cozy, the bedding was luxurious and comfortable, and the refined finishes and overall look balanced elegance with warmth. Every detail felt considered. We travel widely and stay in properties around the world, and this was the best rental company experience we've had. Their care and professionalism are rare. We're deeply grateful and can't wait to return.

The kitchen was stocked with plenty of dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and serving dishes, and there was lots of pantry space for food that didn't need refrigeration. We also enjoyed gathering at The Hollow. We had a very nice family ski vacation, using this home as our base. The large family room and theater were great for spending time together. The dining table seats 10, so all the adults could sit together, which we really enjoyed. We brought a small folding table for our two toddlers. Great place!
