Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Uncasville Mohegan Sun Area

I'm a silver elite member and have stayed here often, but my last visit, Friday Nov 14, will be my last. I'd booked at about $350, then rebooked at a lower rate. When I tried to cancel on the app, it repeatedly said the request couldn't be completed. At check-in, Katie told me I had to request the refund. After going back and forth, I was told they couldn't cancel the charge. I even offered to let them keep half and refund the rest. No chance. Katie chose profit over loyalty and told me each location is independently owned. I told her I'd avoid this place from now on. Apparently losing a valuable regular was worth $350. Hope other guests don't get this same poor attitude when they ask for help.

Evan at the front desk was friendly and great. My room was spacious and clean, with a shower that had amazing pressure and really hot water. The property is very close to the casino, so there are plenty of food options.

I've stayed in plenty of hotels without issues and usually don't care much, but this room smelled strongly of cigarettes and had some stuff on the floor. I turned right around and didn't want to stay. They offered another room, but if that's how they handle one, I figured the others were probably treated the same. I stayed at a much nicer hotel up the street. This place is gross.

The complimentary shuttle to Mohegan Sun Casino was efficient and convenient, and the rooms were spotless, well kept, and comfortably furnished. Staff stayed friendly and professional throughout, making the place feel welcoming. My stay at the Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Uncasville Mohegan Sun Area was excellent, with a nice mix of comfort, service, and convenience. Highly recommended.
