Comfort Inn & Suites St. Louis - O'Fallon

The hotel needs an update. The walls are chipped, and the carpet and wallpaper look dated in the rooms and throughout the building. Breakfast was mediocre, served on very thin paper plates with plastic utensils that bent when I tried to cut a waffle. The check-in clerk was rather impolite, and the pool wasn't heated and couldn't be used. If I'm in the area again, I'd stay somewhere else.

I came for a work trip and had a payment issue, but the man working was rude to both me and my company's travel team. In the morning the problem was still unresolved, so I decided to go stay somewhere nicer. I arrived at 11 p.m. to find the worker outside smoking and telling me to check in. It was disgusting. He was rude and looked gross overall. My room was subpar, with a nasty shower and bedding that felt like paper. The staff here are gross and not friendly at all.

Horrible experience. The workers couldn't care less, and the service was awful. My shower didn't work, and the tub plug was broken. The woman at the counter refused to give me another room. It was so late that I had to stay the night. The next morning the pool water was freezing, so my kids couldn't swim.

The room was disgusting, damp, and smelled like cat pee and mildew. The carpet felt wet, as did everything else in the room. The night manager wasn't helpful. We understood that there were no other rooms available, but he didn't even say sorry. Edit: they clearly don't read these reviews. Travelers, beware. It was awful. Do not stay here.
