The staff were accommodating and made everything easy, from the quick check-in and checkout to the breakfast. There was plenty to choose from, including scrambled eggs and sausages, yogurt and cereal, waffles, bagels, and more. I also appreciated that breakfast ran until 9:30. For our cross-country stop, the price felt just right for what we got. The room was small but clean and comfortable. There was a slight funky smell, probably from the older bathroom, though it wasn't overwhelming. Also, the building has two floors and no elevator, so that's something to consider if you're carrying lots of luggage.

The first time I stopped here that week, on my way to Montana, the young man was very sweet. He let me check in a few minutes early and checked that the room was okay. Coming back through, the woman at the desk was a different story. I understand rules and would follow them, but they should apply to everyone. I couldn't park the tiny camper, which wasn't mine so I couldn't stay in it, while boats were taking up two or three spaces despite the stated rule. When I raised it, she seemed confused and said they were “uuhhhh oohhh working on it?” She had no idea. I had to park across the road in a dirt lot and walk along the highway. Then my eyes started burning badly in the room. I heard adults and children leaving the pool, with kids crying, coughing, and gagging as their parents rushed them to the shower. It sounded like the water had been over-chlorinated. I asked to change rooms because the smell was strong and made my eyes water and burn. They moved me a couple of rooms down the same hall, but the smell and burning eyes were still there, and I felt very nauseated. After driving 14 hours, I'll take a power nap and get back on the road. I'm not coming back.

After a full day driving with pets in lousy weather, I spotted the hotel while we were getting gas. I looked it up and saw pets were welcome, so we pulled across the parking lot to check in. I couldn't face another night on the road. They were very helpful and let us bring more pets than they normally allow. The hotel was clean, and breakfast was good.

The WiFi was great, no lag at all, and the place was really quiet. The rooms were clean and comfortable, especially the beds and pillows. They also had a pool, hot tub, and breakfast. Very nice!

For the price, this was one of the best motels we've stayed at while traveling around the country. It seemed recently renovated, and the rooms, hallways, pool, and hot tub were all clean. We were on the first floor, so stairs weren't an issue, and we could bring our pet. There are restaurants nearby, plus a beautiful park across the bridge in Chamberlain on the Missouri River.
