Dockside Inn

Those little touches really made the stay for me: there’s a self-serve spot for snacks and drinks, plus beach gear guests can use. The price felt very reasonable for Martha’s Vineyard, especially with those extras. The hotel is right in Oak Bluffs, close enough to walk to the ferry, beaches, shops, restaurants, and bus stops for other towns. Everything was clean and comfortable, and the people working there were genuinely kind. I’d be happy to come back.

I was told there’d be something to eat in the morning, but there was no breakfast. The hotel was clean and had a hot tub, so it wasn’t bad in those ways. The location wasn’t great for sleeping, though. Early on, dump trucks and delivery trucks came by, and people walking past were loud while doing their work.

Right on circuit ave ext., the dockside inn is an easy walk to some of the best places to eat in oak bluffs. They put out morning essentials, which is a real help when you’re not ready to go out in public yet, lol. The owner and staff were so good at making the vacation feel memorable. I can’t say enough nice things about them!

We found a room for Sunday and had a nice bed. They also let us leave our luggage while we went to the beach, and offered chairs and towels for free. The lounge was handy for snacks. The problem was the taco club next door: our room was beside it, and the thumping music went on past 1 a.m.
