I finally got to learn about Inkwell and make my first trip to Martha's Vineyard. I'm so glad I booked the cottage. The location was excellent, and the staff were very accommodating. My room was bright, quiet, and comfortable, and I slept well every night. Breakfast was delicious. I chose scrambled eggs with ham and cheese. I hope I can stay here again.

This visit didn't live up to my first one. The room wasn't as clean as I remembered, and ours had no bureau, just two uncomfortable yellow chairs. The place looks tired and needs attention. It isn't called Isabella’s anymore, I think it's now INKWELL, but they really need to put a sign out in front. I had requested the twin room with the terrace that I'd stayed in before, but we got a queen bed instead. If they no longer have a twin room, they shouldn't list one on the website.

We were so pleased with our getaway. The rooms were spotless and well appointed, and from the porch we had a beautiful view of Inkwell Beach. The location was perfect, too. Tee answered every question and request, and Colleen followed up quickly and made us a delicious breakfast each morning. Thanks for everything.

September was a lovely time to visit Martha's Vineyard, with great weather and no crowds. At Isabelle's Beach House, our room was clean and had a wonderful ocean view. Breakfast was good every morning, and this was the first time I didn't go out to a restaurant for it. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we met fellow travelers from other states and countries. I'd happily stay here again and recommend it.

We were a little anxious when we heard the place had been sold, since we'd spent our honeymoon at Isabelle's Beach House and came back nearly every year. But with Colleen as a fabulous hostess, everything we loved was still there: clean, comfortable rooms, great service, and delicious breakfast. We were glad to celebrate our tenth wedding anniversary at Inkwell. So grateful we can keep enjoying this wonderful place, and we always look forward to coming back 💜
