Pequot Hotel

We felt looked after throughout our stay because the owner and staff were so kind and friendly. It was a great value and had a real community feeling. We also loved the historical talk by a local author over wine and cheese.

The hotel is quaint, quiet, and conveniently located in Oak Bluffs, and the staff are really friendly and helpful. The little touches were lovely too: home baked chocolate chip cookies in the afternoon, a pleasant continental breakfast, and complimentary wine and cheese with live music. While we were cycling, the general manager contacted us to say the New Bedford ferry might be canceled the next day. We took an earlier ferry home, and she refunded that night's reservation. The folks at the Pequot go above and beyond. Three thumbs up!

The bathroom was my one real drawback. It was tiny and difficult to move around in, and seeing about 8-10 very visible curly hairs left on the shower wall grossed me out. Besides the shower cleanliness and cramped bathroom, I enjoyed the stay and would consider going back. The Pequot is a cute, quaint hotel in Oaks Bluff with a fantastic location, 10/10. It's a short walk from Inkwell, shops, and restaurants, and a great neighborhood for walking and running. Service was great, and the front desk people and other staff were very nice and helpful. The room's powerful window AC kept it cool, and I really appreciated the mini fridge for food and leftovers.

We really enjoyed the days we spent at the inn. It was quiet, and within walking distance of town and the MV camp association houses. The place has lovely architecture and a quaint feel, and the personnel made us feel welcome. Rooms are small, as you'd expect in a building like this, but they were sufficient and clean. Breakfast was great, with individual quiche, waffles, and pastries.
