The Gallery Suite was a great choice for our two-night stay, and very reasonably priced. We were traveling with our cat, so Jack helped us with the booking and suggested a couple of pet-friendly rooms. After a day of travel, we wanted somewhere to unwind. We arrived after dark, but Jack sent clear directions for parking and finding the room. The property is decorated in a French style, with famous paintings, antiques, and art throughout. It felt like a little Paris neighborhood in the Florida sunshine and ocean air. Our suite was spacious, with a sectional sofa, cable Smart TV, a large chest with a pull-out cot, and a small kitchenette with a fridge, sink, microwave, and coffee maker. There was also a folding dining table with two chairs, plus glasses, China, and a kettle in the pantry. The separate bedroom had a comfortable king bed and walk-in closet. The bathroom had a nice stone-floor shower and fluffy hotel towels. Sam served breakfast each morning in the main house and was attentive and helpful. The house also has a charming parlor and a powder room with a fridge stocked with complimentary drinks. Jack baked fresh cookies at 3 p.m., and there’s a Nespresso machine available around the clock. Out back, there’s a courtyard with tables and chairs, and paddleboards guests can use in the nearby ocean. They thought of everything, even putting beach towels and chairs in each room, though we didn’t make it to the beach this trip. Jack and his family were very sweet and hospitable. We’d absolutely come back and highly recommend this bed and breakfast.

We first stayed at Sabal Palm about 8-10 years ago, when it had different owners, and came back once or twice each winter. We then rented a condo in the area from 2022-2025. This was our first visit since before COVID, and the inn has had new owners for the past 3-4 years. The staff did their best, which we appreciated. Reviews help people plan, so I want to share what we observed. Despite the positive reviews the inn still gets, the property seems to have declined significantly and is close to neglected. It looks like little has been done to maintain the inside or outside, and that’s become clear over the last few years. Older, classic properties like this need ongoing maintenance, and it hasn’t happened.

We loved the homemade breakfasts, and the family who runs the place were lovely and kind. Our suite was beautiful, with an artist theme for each room. I won’t name our favorite, because we want to keep booking it without as much competition. :-) It made a perfect home for our weekend in Lake Worth. Such an adorable 1930's house. We highly recommend it!

The beds were so comfortable we could hardly get out of them, and the biscuits and gravy were the best we’d ever had. The staff brought the charisma, precision, and work ethic of the Taj Mahal. Everything felt clean, with the elegant, creative atmosphere of another era. We had an unforgettable time in this historic two-story home. Sabal Palm was a unique luxury experience, and we can’t wait to come back.

This family-owned place has a peaceful feel, and you can sense the warmth in how everyone treats you. The staff were all kind and welcoming. Our room was very comfortable, and the views were beautiful. I had a great stay at the Sabal Palm House, would absolutely recommend it, and would love to return.
