The room had comfortable beds, quality linens, and good heat and AC. The host was friendly, as other reviewers said, and the house is beautiful. The location is good, though not great, and it isn’t on the water. Breakfast was below what I’d expect from a B&B. There were eggs made to order or waffles, but no meat or pastries. Usually there’s a choice of eggs, a meat option, and fresh pastries or muffins. The bathroom sink also had separate hot and cold faucets, which made it hard to wash my face with warm water. We had a do not disturb sign on the door, but one of the hosts came into our room without permission. We weren’t there at the time, but that shouldn’t happen. It’s a cardinal sin for a high-end hotel, cruise, or B&B.

Erik was so helpful and welcoming, and he’s an excellent chef. I had a lovely night at this idyllic bed-and-breakfast in the off-season, in early May as the island was just opening up. Five stars!

The owners were warm and accommodating, and it felt charming and cozy. We stayed this summer, and it was easy to walk everywhere, yet the area itself wasn’t busy with pedestrians. People would sit on the porch and watch time pass, or relax with a book in the little garden. Breakfast was simple and easy, with a good selection of teas. There’s a corner where you can grab chips, pretzels, and similar snacks. The AC in our room worked well, and the hot and cold water did too. I’d recommend this place to family and friends.

Eric and his wife Rhonda were wonderful. Our room was just right and cleaned every day, and there were snacks and a shared fridge. Breakfast was made to order, too. One night we came back to find guests gathered on the porch, and we got to meet some of the amazing people staying at the Inn. The location was perfect, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We’ll be back, and I highly recommend it.

I felt at home as soon as we arrived at the Oak Bluffs Inn. It’s charming and full of character, and the housekeeping staff were kind and pleasant. Eric was a lovely host, and I really enjoyed our conversations on the porch. The location made it easy to walk to all the main spots on Martha’s Vineyard. There was fresh breakfast and coffee each morning, and the afternoon cookies were delicious. I’ll miss this place and can’t wait to return. A must-stay when visiting MV!
