Hilton Chicago/Oak Brook Hills Resort & Conference Center

The bathroom door setup isn’t great. The doors split in the middle and slide like a barn door, but there’s no lock. The pool is great, though it could use resurfacing. Staff were great too, and the Diamond lounge breakfast was decent.

I’ve come back several times and have always left happy with my stay. The rooms have been spotless and smelled fresh each time, and the large parking lot is convenient and has no extra fee. Hospitality is apparent from the moment I arrive: the front desk welcomes you, and the restaurant staff are friendly. Everyone is very accommodating. I’d highly recommend this hotel.

My daughters and I came for the spa and stayed two nights in two rooms. The rooms were very nice, though neither had a microwave. There’s just one for the whole property, by the front desk, which is my main complaint. The massage and facial were fabulous, the heated pool was beautiful, and the sauna was very nice and clean. It was a calm environment, with good noise control, and the staff were fabulous too. This feels like a classy, more upscale option for a budget stay. I’ll be choosing Hilton more now and won’t be going to Embassy Suites anymore.

The room on the seventh floor was exceptionally clean, and I’m picky about dust and dirt. We had a quiet corner room with a lovely view of the city lights. The hotel is simply decorated but beautiful, and the front desk staff were professional, friendly, and very accommodating. Free parking was ample, and the location near lots of stores was handy. I loved the lobby bar food, especially the Buffalo wings, some of the best I’ve had. There are indoor and outdoor pools, though I didn’t get to use them. I’ve stayed in plenty of hotels, and this was one of the best combinations of service, cleanliness, and location. I’m a harsh critic, so I don’t understand the negative reviews. If I’m in the Oakbrook area again, this will be my first choice.
