Hyatt House Chicago Oak Brook

The location made the work trip easy, with quick access to highways and plenty of good food and shopping close by. Check-in was simple, and the service was friendly and efficient. I was greeted every time I came or went. I liked having a separate living room area, so I didn’t feel like I was living out of a bed all week. The TV swivels between the two spaces, which is clever, and the linens and towels were good. My only small complaints: the mattress needs replacing, and the shower water only gets barely hot enough.

After our mother’s funeral and repast, my brother, cousin, and I went to the bar to have a shot in her memory. I hadn’t had a drink in ages and had no idea what to order, but Star suggested a whiskey sour, which was great. Her conversation and the atmosphere she brought to the bar were just what I needed at the end of that day. Thank you for having her on staff and helping us close out the night that way.

I was in Chicago last year to see family and chose the nearby Hyatt House Hotel because the reviews seemed decent and it fit my budget. The room was spacious and had a nice view of the surrounding area. It wasn’t too noisy, the bed was comfortable, and I got a good nine hours of sleep, plenty for me. The staff were nice as well. I’d stay here again! 👍😁

The omelettes were amazing, and the staff made a great impression throughout my work stay. From Sunday evening when I checked in to Saturday at checkout, everyone I encountered was pleasant and professional. They treated me well and were just as good with the other guests I saw them meet. Loriya handled my checkout and was lovely too. I’ll definitely recommend Hyatt after this stay.
