Auld Holland Inn

The continental breakfast was one of the better ones I've had, and all the small appliances worked properly. Staff were friendly and helpful. It's an older budget hotel, but our room seemed freshly painted, was clean and comfortable, and had plenty of bath supplies. I'd definitely stay again.

The staff were really nice, and the hotel theming is cute. Breakfast was free and the selection was OK. But the room was dirty, with stained carpets, mystery marks on the wall, and a coffee maker and microwave that looked uncleaned for months. There was quite a bit of mold, and the tub was rusty. The bed was awful, U-shaped and super loud, and should have been replaced a decade ago. I slept horribly and don't think I could manage more than one night on it. You can hear everything outside because the noise isolation is so poor. The hotel costs less than some nearby options, but the savings aren't enough to make up for all that. In my opinion, it's worth spending the extra 30 bucks elsewhere.

It's an older inn, but charming, and we enjoyed our stay. Our room was clean and very comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. A super cozy, lovely place. We'll definitely stay again when we're back in Oak Harbor.

The heater was so loud. A very nice front desk rep was kind and empathetic when I spoke with her. Management didn't seem concerned. He cut me off abruptly to say they were getting new heaters, then brushed me off about the cleanliness, saying he was having the girls clean it. That was all. No apology, no acknowledgment that it was unfortunate, and no sign of concern.
