Coachman Inn & Suites

I plan to stay here whenever I’m on the island. It’s a lovely inn, and my room was clean and comfortable, with a desk and good chair, plus a couch and footstool. Breakfast was a really good buffet with fresh eggs, bacon and sausage, potatoes, French toast, and a waffle maker.

After a long day, I found the room so cute and cozy, just what I needed. Wilma was wonderfully kind on the phone and patiently answered all my questions. She was just as lovely in person and put me in exactly the spot I wanted. I also enjoyed chatting with her, and Brittany was kind and accommodating in the morning. The breakfast was yummy, and I got a load of laundry done before checkout. The washer was quick, and, for once, the dryer got my clothes dry in one cycle. The grassy dog potty area was nice too, and I always think it’s cool to see and hear the jets from the base when I’m in the area. The heated pool and hot tub were great, though the jets were so strong I had to brace myself as they pushed me around. They felt SO good on my sore back. Can’t wait to come back. THANK YOU =)

We had the king one-bedroom suite with two queens, so the kids got their own beds and we had a king and space to ourselves. The rooms are a little dated but clean, and the hot tub is tiny. The staff were amazing and pleasant, and breakfast was pretty good. We’d stay again.

Our Airbnb wasn’t ready, so we booked here at the last minute. We were greeted warmly, helped quickly, and the staff explained the different rates without making us feel like a burden. We liked it enough to extend our stay. Three nights here cost less than two at an Airbnb, and we got a delicious breakfast buffet and a peaceful atmosphere. Five stars all around.
