The location is great and they allow pets, though there’s a pet charge for some unknown reason. The hotel seems to have been bought recently, then branded as Motel 6 without cleaning or renovating first. The advertised stovetop and Tempur-Pedic mattresses weren’t there. Hopefully renovations happen. The room was only “clean enough.” It looked like someone had successfully bug-bombed it, wiped down the living area, and changed the blankets at some point, but not after the previous tenants. I brought my own sheets, blankets, and towels. There were cum handprints on the headboard, the phone was dirty, and I kept my shoes on the whole time. Another tenant spent hours banging on my door and yelling, even after I tried several times to deal with it. The bathroom was disgusting. I’d been working on my house doing construction until 130am and checked in then, so I went straight to bed. There was bug poop and staining from floor to ceiling, plus blood splatter on the wall from people using needles. It looked like nothing in there had been cleaned for months. The shower wouldn’t drain, and after working all day we skipped showering. I was also afraid to touch the shower walls. Chunks of the bathroom wall were missing all over.

The manager asked for my ID and $100 in cash. It was decent compared with the other hotels nearby, but the beds were rock solid, and I doubt my pillows were clean since I found hair and other stuff on them. The room and shower could use more cleaning. There were no phones, night lamps, or nightstands. The WiFi kept cutting in and out. The fridge and microwave were standard, but I didn’t see an ice machine or anything like that.

We just waited for morning so we could leave. The room was freezing, the blanket and sheets smelled bad, and there was no hot water for a shower. The heater wasn’t working either. There was too much noise, and the thin curtain barely covered the window. No phone number in the room to call the office if something went wrong.

I had to buy my own towel and blanket because I didn’t dare sleep under the covers. The bed felt like a box spring, maybe how prison beds feel. The stained round table and chairs were so dirty I wouldn’t sit on them, and there was mold along the bottom of the shower curtain. Nasty room. This place needs to be demolished.

The rooms are pretty bare, though remodeled, and at least there were no bugs or rats. The towels were terrible and the main cover was filthy. The owner walks around banging on doors at 10am and is pretty rude. Compared with the other motels around here, this is the lesser of two evils. Still, if you have a better option, stay somewhere else.
