The neighborhood isn't great, but the price was low. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the cable TV was good.

Every room is a smoking room, and the smoke alarms have been disabled. I called Agoda to cancel, but they kept transferring me around and acting like they didn't understand. I'm disputing the charge with my credit card over this listing and its violations of health, safety, and consumer laws. There's also a homeless encampment right outside the door.

The staff were very helpful during my three-night stay. Getting here from OAK Airport was easy too, since two buses took me right to the hotel.

The manager was super nice, and for the price this was good value. The bathroom was nice, while the rest of the room was just okay, with a mini fridge, microwave, and newer TV. Be careful booking online if you have a smoke allergy, they don't say whether you'll get a smoking room, and that's what happened to me.

The French toast at the breakfast and lunch place down the street was awesome 😋. The stay itself was absolutely not worth the price. We asked for a non-smoking room and got a smoking one. There were burn holes and a stain on the top sheet, dust packed into the A/C vent, dirt on the floorboards and around an outlet, and only one of the two nightstands had a knob. Light came through a crack near the door hinges. The area wasn't good either.
