Ocala Cove Motel

I was away most of the time for work, leaving before 3am and often not getting back until after 6-7pm, so it was a decent room for a shower and a bed. It was okay for the price over a three-week stay, and looked recently updated and efficient. The only person I met was the housekeeper, who also checked me in. She was nice and always asked if I needed anything. My room was cleaned twice, which was fine since I do my own cleaning. There were spiders in the shower window, little flying bugs, and a few small roaches. The cold shower water was extremely hard to turn off and dripped constantly, so I had to keep the door shut. I could hear water draining onto the ground from next door. The room beside mine was being remodeled, and work started every morning, even some Sundays at 7am, so there was no sleeping in or resting during the day. Parking was very limited. The owners' cars they worked on took up many spots near my room, so I had to park across the lot or down in front of others. That was inconvenient, especially since the neighborhood felt questionable and I wasn't comfortable there at night.

It was quiet even at night, and the room was great, clean, and comfortable. The owner was super friendly and check-in and checkout were easy. The towels were small, though, so I'll bring my own next time. I plan to stay here again.

Still checked in at Ocalla Cove Hotel and loving every minute! The room is cozy, the atmosphere is peaceful, and the staff are amazing. This place feels like a hidden gem.
