Residence Inn Ocala

We've stayed here twice, for ten days each time, and everyone has been consistently amazing, from the front desk to housekeeping. A special thanks to Jasmine in housekeeping. She was friendly and professional, responded right away whenever we requested service, and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had what we needed. The hotel is under renovation, but the work was handled considerately and only happened during standard business hours, so it didn't disrupt our schedule, even with an early riser in our room.

The hotel was super clean, and breakfast was warm and good. Christina and Luis were outstanding, from handling the reservation at the start to check-in and moving us to another room. They were friendly and quick to respond. Highly recommend!

I have Platinum status with Marriott and have spent years on the road staying at Residence Inns. This one is rough, and I won't be back. The odd smell and big bug mentioned in another review were real, there were dogs barking loudly, and construction dumpsters sat in the parking lot. The furniture was stained and everything looked pretty beat up. I'm here for five days for work because everywhere else was booked, and I can't wait to leave.

Construction woke us up in the morning, and no one had told us the hotel was under renovation. Our room was next to several rooms being worked on. The TV hadn't been activated, and there was no cold water for brushing our teeth. We drove in from MI and arrived around 11 p.m., but no one was at the front desk. We waited about ten minutes before someone came to check us in. When I reported the issues the next morning, the staff said they couldn't do anything, but would tell the manager and have him contact us. We stayed four days ago and still haven't heard back. I'm disappointed, especially as a lifetime Platinum elite member. There are too many hotel choices here. Stay away from this one.
