The website showed it would be open on the day we planned to visit, but when we arrived, it was closed. I understand the hours may change, but changing them at the last minute makes it hard to plan anything. We drove an hour for nothing, and it was very disappointing. I didn’t see any staff, just one other guest. The place felt like a ghost town.

The only reason I’m giving it two stars instead of one is that my room had no pests, though I wouldn’t be surprised if other rooms do. There was black mold growing from the vents, the mesh screen door didn’t work, and the breaker was right next to the shower. The carpet and lights looked original to the 60s. The free ice skating show every day except Friday was nice.

The rink is tiny, and the ice seemed like it hadn’t been smoothed in ages. I wouldn’t come here if you want to skate without a kid trampling you or risk breaking an ankle on the uneven ice.

They advertised ice skating with the Easter Bunny all weekend, so that’s what we booked the hotel for. There was no ice and no Easter Bunny.

The room was really nice, and even the partial ocean view was well worth it.
