We were here for the Great Marlin Open 8/3/25-8/8/25 and were treated so well. The place was VERY CLEAN, clean enough that we actually exercised on the floor. Daniel from maintenance was very nice, and Manager Nick was a standout. We locked ourselves out after office hours, and he came over smiling. The hotel is an easy walk to the boardwalk. They were working on a gas station at the time, so crossing the street was tricky. If you don't want to Jay walk, take the well-lit underpass and follow the sidewalk up to the boardwalk. The suites have an efficient setup with a refrigerator, small sink, and microwave. It's a short walk to a major Marina where many boats in the tournament stay. You could potentially walk to the edge of the bridge and watch boats come and go in the morning when the drawbridge is open. There's a sliding glass door in your room where you can hang towels or enjoy the view, though it's somewhat limited by the huge hotel built in front of the waterfront. Each floor has a veranda with about 5 or 6 seats and tables. The simple style made it feel clean and efficient. I have zero idea why it was only rated 3.5 stars, because for me it's five stars. We'll be back again!

I booked this hotel 11 months ahead, then got an email the week before our event saying they had overbooked and needed to cancel our Dhimas Bayview Suites reservation. Nick, Manager, DBS, apologized and said the $499.00 deposit would be fully refunded immediately. Don't risk booking here if you need a place to stay. I'm sure they didn't realize Oceans Calling was that weekend 11 months earlier, and once they did, they canceled on us for more income. Poor business decision.

The rooms are beautiful, the location is awesome, and the deal was great. I didn't even mind paying for parking, and we loved it until the end. Housekeeping came in despite the DND sign, and afterward I couldn't find a small bottle of expensive perfume. At first I thought I'd misplaced it, but I looked everywhere and cleaned out the room, and it never turned up. I told the owner, who dismissed the concern, saying 'the girl' who cleaned our room had worked there for 3 months without incident and there was no way she'd taken anything. We won't stay there again. It's a shame, since everything else was great.

Calls and texts from a cell phone kept coming, pressuring us about our arrival time as though he were doing us a favor. We couldn't give an exact time because we were traveling two states with a baby in the middle of a tropical storm. The reviews had me skeptical, but I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. He was rude and unprofessional, seemed money hungry, and showed no customer service. Save your money and go somewhere more reputable.

Spotless, a level of cleanliness you don't often find in OC. The assigned parking spot was worth it too!
