Beachliner Hotel

The breakfast and Bernadette Roche’s hospitality made a real difference to our stay. From the moment we arrived, she welcomed us warmly, shared tips for local attractions and places to eat, and added personal touches that made us feel like we were staying with a friend. We stayed from Wednesday to Saturday, and she made sure we felt comfortable throughout. The Beachliner is charming and well maintained, with a cozy atmosphere that suits the vibrant spirit of Asbury Park, NJ. Breakfast each morning set us up for the day, and the place itself felt relaxing. Bernadette Roche is the heart of the establishment, and her passion for hospitality shows. We can’t wait to return, and I wholeheartedly recommend staying here for a special visit to the area.

Quiet rooms, comfy beds, and beautiful, clean interiors made it easy to feel at home here. You can see the beach from the front and back balconies, and hear the waves at night. Downstairs there are plenty of breakfast choices, and Bernadette clearly works hard to make guests feel welcome. The hotel gives you the chance to stay in one of the lovely homes you admire while walking Ocean Grove’s quiet streets. It’s very close to the beach, and we feel safe and welcome here. It’s an older Victorian house, so keeping its charm while modernizing it is a difficult balance, but the owner and Innkeeper do it well. My boyfriend and I make a point of returning to places abroad that feel like home, and The Beachliner has become our home down the Jersey Shore. We can’t wait to come back.

The food in the dining room was delicious, and the room was so clean. Each morning’s breakfast was unbelievable, and Bernadette Roche even baked large chocolate cookies for the afternoon. That baking was unexpected and so appreciated. We arrived late in the evening and were welcomed by the innkeeper, Bernadette Roche, with a warmth I’ve never experienced before. I’ve traveled through many countries, but this place felt different. Thank God the Beachliner Hotel has Bernadette Roche. I’m definitely coming back.

Breakfast was made to order by the very sweet woman working there. The lobby was nicer inside than we expected, and our room was clean and super cute. There were even robes in the room, such a luxury. What a lovely little beach bed and breakfast. We’d 100% stay again.
