We had a good time, but won't return because seeing the ocean from our room was the main reason for the trip, and we didn't get that. We stayed in Charleston 105. When we booked, we asked for an ocean view, but the person handling reservations was in Alabama and didn't know which room had one, so we had to guess. On arrival, broken glass deck rails were lying on the deck, apparently after a big windstorm; the bolts holding them had rotted away. The photo showed two bathrobes on the wall, so I didn't bring one, but there weren't any. The hot tub worked well, while about half the electrical outlets didn't. The furniture was dated.

We reported the problems in the message Vacasa sent on May 14th, and they said they'd make sure things were fixed. But I found a review from two months earlier mentioning the same bed and shower doors, so clearly nothing had been done. We were in the Richmond room, and from the outside decay, I can't imagine another room is better. There was nasty growth by the fridge, and the whole unit needed a deep clean. The large, heavy shower doors were off track with broken rollers; moving them hurt my back. The toilet handle broke, so we had to reach into the tank to flush. The bed was worn out, uncomfortable, and creaked whenever we moved. The place was outdated throughout. We filled the hot tub, only to find things floating in it, and its faucet was broken and loose. There was one robe for two guests. For the price and amenities, they also expected us to start the dishwasher and laundry. Are you kidding me?

We spent our honeymoon here with my husband and our great uncle. It was peaceful and serene. The living room had a jacuzzi tub with an ocean view, the bedroom was comfortable, and it was pet friendly. Our dog loved it!

I stayed in Abilene room #104. The jetted tub was disgusting, and I don't know if its jets and lines have ever been properly cleaned. The bathroom wall behind the faucet had makeup splattered on it. The dryer had several cracks held together with packing tape. There were three cheap locks on the patio door, which seemed odd. The sofa was broken and uncomfortable, with a worn, faded blanket over it. What's underneath is inexcusable and gross. The cheap spring mattress was sagging on both sides, and I found a long black hair in the bed. After reading other reviews, I see others have had the same issues, and the owners haven't improved things. Don't stay here!
