Pacific Surf Condos

We slept really well on the excellent mattress, and enjoyed making breakfast each morning. The place was nicely decorated, and being so close to the beach was a plus. We were happy with our stay and would consider coming back.

The bed looked like it had blood or feces on it. For a place charging over $300 a night, how is that acceptable? In my opinion it was unlivable, so stay somewhere else if you can. I’d give it zero stars if that were an option.

The only good thing here was the location. The outdoor BBQ area was a mess, and the clam-cleaning station was filthy, with standing stagnant water. Inside, the kitchen was poorly equipped and disorganized. The sink took five minutes to drain, which made washing dishes a pain, and the stove and oven were old and rickety even though they worked. Under the sink, an old refrigerator had been turned into a cupboard. There was no soap or shampoo for the shower. The 5pm check-in was awful, and we’d missed that detail before booking. We emailed the day before to ask about arriving earlier and were told to call on check-in day. When we called at 11am, a very rude woman barked that they had to clean and the earliest check-in was 5pm. I understand needing to clean, but we only called because they told us to. Don’t stay here. It isn’t worth it. You’ve been warned, and the other bad reviews are there to read too.

The front door wouldn’t lock, and there was no key in the lockbox. Putting in the code didn’t lock it either. Both door screens were broken, and the lawn behind the condo hadn’t been mowed. The bed and pillows looked like something had been lying on them. There was only Disney+ on the TV, and getting to the bathroom meant going through the kitchen.
