OS Hotel

The hotel looks beautiful and is decorated really well. Parking was free, and the staff were friendly. But for a rate of $200+ a night, I expected the basics. There was no microwave in the room or even on the floor, and there was no basic cable, just Roku live TV or your own streaming subscriptions. What if you don't have those? The entrance doors also aren't accessible for people who need assistance. They should be automatic or slide open. The walls are very thin, too, so I heard everything in the hallway and next door. It's lovely to look at, but the stay felt disappointing and overpriced. I honestly want about $200 of my money back.

My reservations were canceled without a phone call. I made them in person at the desk, and then they were simply canceled. Be careful, especially around events. I suspect they may cancel when they think they can charge more closer to the event. Update: The owner replied that they hadn't followed their own procedures, as though that made it my problem. They still never called. I only got a cancellation email with no explanation, and I still haven't received a call.

A friend of ours came from Australia and paid over $300 per night for several nights at the Os1515 Downtown + CRAVE Food Hall hotel. They provided zero housekeeping. His reaction was that he might as well have booked Motel 6, and we agreed. He was so upset about his first hotel stay in MS, and so were we. If you're traveling to Ocean Springs, MS, book somewhere else. We'll never recommend this place to friends visiting here.

We loved walking around the area. There are lots of good restaurants and cute places to visit within easy walking distance, and downstairs there's a great bar with really friendly staff. The whole building felt clean and relaxed. Our condo at the OS1515 Downtown was spotless, nicely furnished, and cozy, with a soft, comfortable bed. We slept like babies. The little details and artwork made it feel cared for and homey. From the moment we arrived, everything was warm and welcoming. We'd definitely stay again.
