***UPDATED*** The room had roaches on the walls, mold in the bathroom, dust on the dresser and nightstand, and no towels, washcloths, or soap. The hallway smelled of weed and had empty beer bottles. I took photos of other concerns as well and escalated them to the city of Ocoee and Choice Hotels. At check-in, the young woman at the desk didn't smile or welcome me, and went straight to business and money. The manager was worse, again with no welcome or smile. They made disparaging remarks in Spanish about another guest while I was checking in. Hearing the manager talk that way was disheartening. You never know what people are going through, and life can change in a blink. Please do better and take customer service classes. This is a hospitality business, but nothing about the place felt hospitable. A staff change might get it to at least a 4-star hotel. Don't treat people like they're beneath you. You have bills due next month like everyone else. He repeated that he wasn't paid or AI, which makes me think one of those two things is true. I'm glad this is your kind of hotel, but please watch your mouth and your assumptions. 🧊🧊🧊🧊

I only booked this place because another hotel transferred me due to an age requirement, and that was a big mistake. The hotel is filthy and infested with roaches, and the conditions aren't worth the outrageous price. They charged a different price each night, and I'm sure they overcharged us. On our last day, we'd already paid a late checkout fee, but the receptionist in the attached photo harassed us to leave earlier than the time we paid for. She claimed her manager was “extremely upset” and demanded we come downstairs to pay for a full day. When we went down, the manager had disappeared. The receptionist was rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional, then walked away and told us to come back later. The key cards never worked, so we had to keep going to the front desk. This place needs to be shut down and inspected by the state. I will report this hotel. Do not stay here. Ever.

This is probably the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. The room smelled horrible, so I slept in the truck. When I asked to have it cleaned, the front desk said they clean rooms every 7 days. I called the front desk lady to ask for a different room, and she had a bad attitude. When I arrived, it hadn't changed, and unfortunately she was there in the morning too. If she doesn't like her job or people, she should leave. There were cockroaches everywhere. The bathroom had a piece of ceiling missing above the toilet, as shown in the photos, which was shocking and potentially dangerous. Toilet paper and towels were scarce, and I had to ask the rude receptionist for them. NEVER COMING BACK. Spend a little extra for a nicer, safer hotel with better staff.

The room was nasty: the blanket had a hole, the floor was scratched all over, the lights above the bed were bent, and the table lamp had rust stains everywhere. They gave me a handicap facility bathroom. Apart from the person at the front desk, I wouldn't recommend this place.
