For what it costs, the place was fine and did what we needed. The problem came around 6 a.m. on our second morning, near the end of October. My 20-year-old daughter was cold and switched on the heater. About half an hour later, our smoke alarm started sounding. I checked outside our room, and none of the other alarms were going off. Nobody was at the front desk or came by, even though a woman getting her 6 a.m. coffee heard it and was surprised too. I took the detector down from the ceiling and pressed its reset button, but left it plugged in. When we returned our keys shortly before 11, there still wasn't anyone at the counter to tell. I called on the drive home, though I don't know if the message will reach anyone. Maybe there was dust in the heater, but we'd used it earlier during our stay and it smelled awful.

The pool was big and warm, and the hot tub was wonderfully hot. The breakfast space looks really nice, and there are gambling machines too. The rooms are on the small side and a bit dated, but I love it here!

The shower had almost no water pressure, and the bed was lumpy with barely-there pillows. Breakfast was included, but it was just waffles and cereal, with no protein at all. Pool repairs were loud, and the pool wasn't available, which hadn't been listed. I'd just stay in Green Bay or at the campground.

The pool was much bigger than I expected for an econolodge, and definitely above average. A good hotel for the price.

The room was roomy and the beds were comfortable, and it was easy to find the place. I liked the pool, the early breakfast station, and the few gaming machines for adults. Housekeeping brought the service rating down: there was a coffee pod left in the machine from the previous occupant, a dirty sock under the sink, and two dirty towels still hanging on the hook behind the bathroom door.
