Miss Donna made us and our infant son feel like VIPs every morning, and breakfast was wonderful. We stayed here three times while exploring the national parks in Texas, and the front desk staff were always friendly, ready with a smile or a kind word. On the first night, we found a problem with our room after checking in at 9 pm. The desk staff apologized and got us another room right away. I wish every trip could include a place like this. Well done, Odessa Holiday Inn!

We planned on one night, but exhaustion and the weather had us staying a second. Luckily, we got to keep the same room, which was clean and comfortable. The overnight guy was nice and hospitable, and breakfast was great the first morning and good the next. The juice and water machine wasn't working, though, so there wasn't another option for people who don't drink milk.

The room had a sweaty odor. Parking costs $7 plus tax per day, supposedly for a lot with security cameras, but they aren't responsible if anything happens to your car or truck.

I come here once a month on my way to work, but the elevators are a real problem. On each of my last three visits, one of them hasn't been working. Even the other one can take so long that someone could walk up and down the stairs four times before it gets you to your floor. They keep filling the rooms from the top back toward the front. If the elevators are down, why not start on the lower floors?

It's a clean hotel with tidy bathrooms and shower areas, spacious rooms, and a decent breakfast. I had a good stay. If you're in Odessa, it's a nice place, though it feels more like a three-star hotel.
