We’ve been here many times and have always enjoyed our stays. After new management took over four or five years ago, it didn’t feel quite the same to us at first, but we’ve noticed lots of welcome improvements on our visits over the past few years. The staff are personable and welcoming, and we liked the champagne on arrival and cookies at the front desk. The couches in the pool and Roman spa area are a good update, and West meadow pub has been updated too. We’ll definitely return, especially in the off-season when the rates are very affordable.

It had been quite a few years since our last visit, and we were glad to see this still feels like one of our favorite resorts. The staff were cheerful and quick to help, and Hunter at the front desk was especially friendly and helpful. Everything was very clean. We also noticed a lot of repainting, and that the unsafe stools had been removed from the outdoor hot tub. We understand more renovations are planned. We really enjoyed the outdoor hot tub and hope to come back.

My daughter and I came for a birthday weekend, and they’d left a box of excellent chocolates in our room with birthday wishes. The Roman spa was my favorite, so relaxing. There were plenty of amenities, and the continental breakfast was included. Patrina at the front desk was a delight, and her dinner recommendation was excellent. I’d highly recommend the resort for a trip to Ogunquit, Maine.

The spa was so relaxing that we spent a lot of time there. The building smelled lovely, and there were lots of cozy places to sit. Our room was very nice, and we had no problems apart from weak shower pressure. Breakfast was fine and included in the price. The man who checked us in was welcoming and went out of his way to make us feel comfortable, even giving us champagne since we were celebrating a birthday. It was an easy drive to the downtown shops and the ocean, both enjoyable even in February. Our one real disappointment was that we received an email saying our free room cleaning was approved, but the room was never cleaned. Everything else was wonderful, though, and we enjoyed the stay and would recommend it to friends or family.

I booked here and already regret it. We wanted to upgrade and spend more, but were told to cancel our first reservation and book online for the best rate. They said the cancellation would cost $30 and that they’d reimburse us once the new booking was complete. When I called back, I couldn’t reach a person, just an automated system. They also said I should have an itinerary number in an email, but I only got a text with a different confirmation number, so no one could help. This place sucks. I’m cancelling the new reservation and losing $60 to stay somewhere else. FTP.
