The innkeeper was attentive and fun, and could cook a good breakfast. Our room was great, the bed comfortable, and everything was easy to get to nearby. We had a wonderful Labor Day weekend getaway, from the text to arrange check-in right through to leaving. We enjoyed it enough to book another stay for a few months from now. Thanks, we’re looking forward to coming back!

Katie is a lovely host who’s accommodating and makes a delicious breakfast. There are homemade treats waiting in the afternoon, too. The location is great, right in the heart of Ogunquit.

Greg knew the area well and shared ideas for things to see and do. He also made us a wonderful breakfast, which we enjoyed in the terrific outdoor spaces at a leisurely pace. We felt right at home at Moon Over Maine. The inn is conveniently close to Main Street shops, restaurants, and beaches.

Breakfast baskets are really convenient since we can eat at the inn on our own schedule. The shower stalls in some rooms are very narrow, though that’s part of staying in a 200-year-old house. We’ve been coming to Moon Over Maine for over 20 years, and the rooms and shared spaces have been updated. Everything felt fresh and spotless. Greg, our innkeeper, was great. The backyard fire pit is a nice place to hang out or have people over. Prices have gone up, as they have everywhere, but they’re in line with other local inns. If you’re after a small boutique stay with just eight rooms, this fits.
