The place finally burned to the ground in a second fire, this time destroying it completely. Google still acts as if you can rent a room there.

It has been vacant and closed since a fire in November 2023. Then another fire burned it to the ground on December 29, 2025.

In November 2023, the room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the front desk clerk great. Breakfast was a joke, but things were fine until the hotel caught fire and destroyed my room. Since I couldn't check out, they charged my employer a couple thousand dollars as if I'd stayed for weeks. It took quite a while to straighten that out, and I'm still missing reimbursement for some of what I lost. Nobody answers my emails, and trying to reach someone by phone is a joke.

The owners live onsite and directly oversee things themselves. I met them during my stay about a month ago, and the place was GREAT. Everything was spotlessly clean, with breakfast and the pool open. There'd been lots of maintenance and painting during the shutdown, including fresh paint on the pool deck and inside. Next time I'm in the area, I won't even consider staying anywhere else. Well done!

Our room had the wrong beds, but they switched it quickly. The replacement room smelled like dirty feet or something, but otherwise it was fine. Morning coffee was left from the night before, never fresh and hot. Still, the waffles and sausages were nice, and I'd stay again.
