The housekeeping crews deserve a big thank you. Our room was CLEEAAANNN! The weekly rate was very reasonable for our family of four and our service dog (Deaf Awareness). There’s good food nearby and plenty of places to walk with the kids, which mattered most to us. Staff were nice and decent, too. I know their work can be stressful, and they deserve recognition for how committed they are to treating everyone hospitably.

I’ve stayed here twice while visiting from the UP, and I’ll be back. It’s a quiet, safe spot just a minute off the interstate, with restaurants, gas stations, shops, and other businesses close by. For a budget friendly place, it’s clean and has enough amenities to make a night away hassle free. No gym, pool, or breakfast, but there are plenty of nearby breakfast options. It’s a good choice if all you need is a bed, shower, and TV while traveling. I booked through Priceline and couldn’t find a better price. The staff met my expectations. People who leave negative reviews may be expecting a four star place at $150 a night.

Very friendly staff, a clean room that isn’t run down, and a great shower with lots of pressure. There’s also an apartment size refrigerator and a full size microwave, and the dog fee is reasonable. The pillows could be better: some are heavy, but they all feel limp. The bathroom sink faucet temperature was off too, though I’m sure that’s not typical. No frills, but I’ll be back.

Mary made my move from Spring Hill, Tennessee to Michigan feel much more welcoming. She helped me learn about Lansing, suggested local spots, and pointed me toward ways to meet people in the community. Her kindness and professionalism reminded me of the Southern hospitality I grew up with. Because of her care, I extended my stay by two weeks, and she made me feel at home. She deserves recognition for her service and the heart she brings to the job. My experience with the guy at the desk when Mary wasn’t there was much better, too.

The bathroom had mold, the wallpaper was peeling, and the fan ran constantly. Since the light is motion activated, it stayed on all the time as well. They only came by to clean about once a week, and the trash bins are tiny, which isn’t practical for an extended stay. There weren’t any dishes or other standard basics included. It’s not a bad extended stay hotel, but I wouldn’t recommend it.
