For about $50 a night, the gated lot is a plus, though I don’t know whether they actually close the gates. The room itself was really dirty, with questionable stains everywhere. Floor tiles were loose and bubbling up, and the wardrobe door had come off and was leaning against the cabinet.

We left and found another hotel nearby for $80. This one didn’t feel right for a family stop, especially with small kids. The lot smelled strongly of marijuana, and there seemed to be some questionable activity there. A group arrived in a beat-up vehicle, and I wondered what rate they might have been given under the extra-adult pricing. We’d booked BestWay Inn Oklahoma City Airport through Booking.com while driving from Texas to Kansas. We were tired and just wanted somewhere clean and safe to sleep for a few hours. It had a 7.1 rating and “pleasant” reviews, with rooms advertised at $45 a night. We’d recently stayed at a great Dallas hotel for $65, so this seemed like it might be reasonable. The tall wire fence around the property struck us as odd, though I thought it might be for security. Checking in through glass made the place feel even less welcoming. The young woman at the desk was kind, but asked whether we were “trying to bring a bunch of homeless people” into the room. That was shocking and inappropriate. We were told the room was $50, plus $25 for each extra adult, so the total came to $70 for the night. That seemed steep for the area and the conditions. They also required a $40 cash deposit, which felt inconvenient and unusual. The online room photos looked clean and the desk staff was polite, but this doesn’t seem family-friendly or like a place to get peace of mind. It might suit a solo traveler or someone in a pinch, but I wouldn’t recommend it for families.

Roaches, people I took to be drug users hanging around the parking lot, arguments and fights, police knocking on doors, and people banging on things in their rooms. I needed a place for one night after driving from Wichita, KS to pick up a car part late in the day. It was the worst overnight stay I could have imagined. DO NOT STAY HERE!

We stayed here years ago, and it was a lot nicer then. This time we got no sleep because people were arguing and fighting all night in the parking lot (11/21/24, rm # 116). We didn’t have pets, but I guess I was charged for their rodent, a mouse. They said the property owner would contact me, but that never happened. The sign said $39.95 a night, but I paid $65 plus a $40 cash deposit. I won’t stay here or recommend this place again.
