After a great evening at our show and a good night's sleep, I checked my phone before 8 a.m. and saw that the manager had already approved a fee-free cancellation request. I only had to tap “I accept,” and the refund for the wrong dates was pending in my bank account. What a relief after a day that had already gone sideways: a dog attacked me, we arrived three hours late, and then I realized our booking was for the following week. The front desk woman said other guests had been hit by booking.com glitches too. She explained she couldn't cancel it herself, but the manager could in the morning, and she left them a note. She also gave me a number to call booking.com, but after more than 20 minutes on hold I gave up for the night. There were no whirlpool suites, which I understood, but she got us into a similar king suite with a tub so I could soak my leg. It was booked correctly at a slightly discounted rate, so it didn't cost more than my original booking. She gave us keys, showed us where to park, and reassured us again about the refund. They could have kept the incorrect booking fee or turned us away, but instead they sorted it out and treated us like people. That earned our repeat business and a lot of respect. I'd give customer service 10 stars if I could.

Traveling with my two dogs, one a diabetic detection service dog and the other not trained for service, I was glad both were treated respectfully. The hotel is dog-friendly and the pet fee is reasonable, which I really appreciate. The small grassy area out front was disappointing because some owners hadn't cleaned up after their dogs. Please be considerate so places like this can keep welcoming pets. Breakfast was hot, fresh, tasty, and had plenty of options. My room was clean and comfortable, the property felt well cared for, and check-in was quick. Everyone I met was friendly, welcoming, helpful, and professional. There was a nice pool too. I'd happily stay here again in Oklahoma City, especially with my dog.

I felt safe walking between the hotel and my car, with a secured parking garage right next door. The pool was a hit with my three kids: clean, only 4 feet deep, and had a super shallow baby area, a little slide, pool toys, balls, and flotation devices for extra safety. Our room was clean and ready, with the play pen I'd requested already set up. Staff were friendly, and breakfast was perfect. Nothing bad to say. Highly recommend it.

We brought our dogs and even they seemed right at home. The beds and furniture were comfortable, and the shower had great water pressure. The pool was clean with a nice area for little kids, and my little one loved the slide and all the balls. The hotel itself was very clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We'll choose it again when we're in OKC.

Hampton Inn is usually my favorite place to stay, but this night manager is hurting the company's image. She calls herself a manager, though I don't think she is one. When I arrived in a suit with a suitcase, she still made me stand outside in the cold and check my reservation by phone before she'd open the door. Then she hung up on me, and from the entryway I could see it was deliberate. It seemed like she'd been annoyed at being pulled from whatever she was doing in the back office to help a customer.
