Hampton Inn & Suites Oklahoma City - South

The manager was thoughtful and helpful, and our room was clean and comfortable. Check-in was ready for us even though we arrived late at night. There was hot breakfast and coffee in the morning. Thanks for a nice place to rest for the night at the Hampton Inn OKC south.

The rooms with Jacuzzis are spacious, and the place is clean, well staffed, and a good value. The neighborhood isn’t the best, but it isn’t the worst either.

Breakfast was good, and the in-app door key was handy. It stopped working while we were eating, but getting it fixed was quick. I got a really good room price, and all in all it wasn’t a bad place. A little more attention to detail would make a real difference. The location was convenient, though a group sitting in the parking lot listening to music gave the place a bit of a “trashy hotel” feel. We couldn’t get help late at night, even though someone had been working the desk when we arrived 20 minutes earlier. My adult daughter and teen daughter waited at the desk for quite a while hoping to get a clean pillowcase and a couple of toothbrushes, but nobody came back. The pillowcase we had was unwashed with fresh stains. There was mold in the tub, and caked dust on top of the door frame and lampshade. Apart from the soiled pillowcase, the room looked like it had sat empty collecting dust for a while.

I never even got to stay. I wanted to book a nice room for my wife and me to celebrate our anniversary away from our child, but I got a call saying the reservation had to be canceled because locals aren’t allowed to book and stay. They offered no help finding another hotel, just told me it was canceled. I’m never recommending a Hampton or Hilton property again. This was absolute BS.
