The location is a big plus, with several places to eat within walking distance. Check-in was quick and easy, and I got upgraded to a spacious, clean room. The food at the bar was just okay. I had steak and fries. My new favorite hotel in OKC.

Everyone was friendly and welcoming, and breakfast was delicious. There’s also a tasty restaurant on site, plus snacks for sale nearby, filtered water, and ice. It’s close to shops, food, and the highway. Parking costs extra, but I’d still stay here again. We needed a place for one night after surgery, and the hotel came through on comfort and cleanliness. The bed was so comfortable that I actually checked the mattress brand. The bathroom was spacious and beautifully designed.

Johnnie Reed made our stay unforgettable. From our arrival after a long day of travel through our departure, he greeted my family and me warmly, checked us in efficiently, and explained the amenities, dining choices, and nearby attractions clearly. He made us feel welcome and valued. When we had a special request, he handled it personally and promptly, then followed up to make sure everything went as expected. He anticipates what guests need and brings real care and attention to detail to his work. His professionalism and leadership stood out to me. He has the accountability, poise, and ability to guide guest experience and a team that I’d expect from a General Manager. We’ll absolutely return and recommend the hotel. Johnnie sets a high standard for hospitality, and the organization is fortunate to have him representing its brand.

The Lively Hotel on Oak has become my first choice for solo work trips. Valet takes care of the car when you pull up, and there’s keyless, contact-free check-in. The room is nicely equipped. With food, shopping, and a green space for safe walks nearby, it feels like a place to come home to when you’re away from home.
