Motel 6 Oklahoma City, OK

I’m living here until my new residence is ready. It isn’t a five-star hotel, but the atmosphere is good, the rooms are clean, and housekeeping is great. Security comes by regularly, and he’s an awesome guy. The manager is awesome too. She loves dogs, and when an older Chihuahua girl was abandoned here twice, she brought her to me to care for instead of calling animal control or a shelter. That was the sweetest thing she could’ve done. I have two dogs now, and that says a lot about her character. I highly recommend staying here if you need a place. You’ll get a friendly welcome.

The room smelled bad, and I’ve never had a hotel room this ugly and dirty. There were hairs on the bed and in the shower, towels that were supposed to be clean had dog hair, and it seemed like nobody had mopped the floor. The blankets and sheets were very old, with holes and stains. I talked to the housekeeper, who said it wasn’t her fault and told me the owner didn’t even want to buy cleaning supplies or new linen. I’ll never stay there again.

The rooms are spacious, and we love the queen beds because they’re so comfy, especially compared with full or double beds. They definitely love animals. There’s an indoor pool, but it was under repair when we were there, so sadly the kids couldn’t swim. Outside, all you hear is highway noise, though the AC and TV block it out inside.

I was pregnant and getting sick on our road trip, so I was counting on the room to rest and shower. We had reserved it for a 2 p.m. check-in on October 2, 2025, but the front desk woman said it wasn't clean and told me to cancel. I’d never been treated so rudely. We cancelled and found somewhere else. They don’t honor the check-in times shown online, and the way we were spoken to was awful.
