Park Hill Inn and Suites

The bed was comfortable and the location really good, which makes this more upsetting. The rooms are dated, but that wasn’t the main problem. My husband and I woke up in the middle of the night with bed bug bites. We ended up finishing our stay at the lake in our car. At checkout, they only returned the deposit.

We found it easily right off the highway, and the room was clean and already cool from the AC when we arrived. The staff got us checked in quickly and were accommodating. It was a pleasant stay.

This place was disgusting and made me feel completely unsafe. There was blood and urine on the mattresses, a white creamy liquid dripping on the TV, and a used toothbrush with open toothpaste on the sink. The ceiling was caving in, and there was gang graffiti in the bathroom advocating extreme violence. The attendant seemed surprised, but it’s obvious they don’t give the rooms much TLC. They say they disinfect, but this was incredibly unsanitary. Absolutely awful, twice over. Gross, gross, gross.

The rooms are a bit dated, but the owners more than make up for that. It’s a husband and wife who live there, and aside from their kids filling in sometimes, they’re the only staff. They’re so short-handed, you’d never know it. A great place for the price.
