Our room floor was wet, probably from the AC, and that left the room feeling very humid. The staff were friendly, and the hotel was okay for a cheap stay, but it’s clearly older and needs updating. I wouldn’t stay again until some remodeling is done.

There were roaches, other insects, and spiders throughout the rooms, which were damaged and smelled like cigarettes. The AC units had that same cigarette smell, and there was no maintenance being done. I also saw people leave drugs in rooms, and from what I saw, staff kept them. There were a lot of strange cats outside, too. Customer service was awful. This is the worst hotel you could stay at, definitely one star.

The location made me feel unsafe. There were homeless people all around, and even with the front door locking at midnight, I never felt comfortable. Since the whole building is non-smoking and there’s no outdoor seating, I had to go through the one main entrance and sit in my car whenever I wanted a smoke. I probably won’t stay here again. Check-in was easy, and the woman at the desk was nice. I killed a roach as soon as I got to my room. There’s only a standing shower, no bathtub, and its floor was so slick I worried the whole time about slipping, though the grab bar helped. The bed was comfortable, but the two pillows on a king bed felt cheap and were pretty pathetic. On my second night, a family with little kids moved into the room above me and ran and jumped nonstop. I went to complain at the desk since my phone wasn’t plugged in, and the woman apologized and asked me to be patient while they settled in. It quieted down eventually, but it sounded like they were rehearsing river dancing up there.

I couldn’t imagine paying these people another cent. Two minutes after checkout, at 11:02, staff were already coming into my room to tell me to leave. During my first OKC visit, I ended up finishing it at a hotel that respects ADA guests. The staff were rude and ignorant, and seemed willing to dismiss your rights based on their feelings. The pictures are better than the actual stay. The shower got hot, but it was raggedy, the facilities badly need updating, and the place smelled. My room wasn’t clean and seemed to have roaches. Breakfast’s best feature was the hot water, which wasn’t even hot.
