The grounds are nicely kept, the room was clean, and the owners have made some lovely updates. Everyone was nice, too. I could hear a lot through the paper thin walls, though, and the bed felt hard as iron. If noise bothers you and earplugs aren't an option, this may not be the right place. The owners can only do so much about soundproofing, but better mattresses would help. The in-room coffee setup needs attention as well: the coffee supplied doesn't work with the maker they provide, and it tastes awful. They'd be better off leaving it out than serving it that way.

The room had a strong, old musty smell, and dust seemed to be embedded everywhere. The bathroom looked fairly clean, but the mattress was very thin and uncomfortable. From our downstairs room, we could hear the person above us very loudly. I wouldn't stay here again.

I've stayed in two different rooms while passing through the area, and both were clean, with beds that were comfortable so far, not beat-up or lumpy. The hot water was great, with no waiting around or trying to make do with lukewarm water. The office woman was cheerful and greeted me with a smile, which was nice to see. The view is great and it's quiet, and there are several restaurants nearby. I recommend Whitestone Restaurant for breakfast or dinner. They have steak dinners, a breakfast and dinner buffet, or you can order what you want. There's a bar, too, and the staff and owners are very nice. Dairy Queen is just down the road for ice cream afterward. I've tried quite a few places around here and been disappointed. I usually find big problems and dirty places to call out, but for the price, I can finally say this place is not too shabby. Photos show the king bed Loft and a 2 bed room.

The owner was pleasant and helpful, and the room was clean. It had a refrigerator and microwave, and guests can use the barbecue grill and outdoor patio. We'll definitely come back here. Highly recommend.
