Atlantic Birches Inn

Atlantic Birches made the start of our marriage feel so special. My husband and I spent the first two nights of our honeymoon here before flying out of the nearby Portland Jetport, and we loved every minute. It's a cute, beautiful, romantic place, and an easy, quick walk from both the beach and the shops around it. Our room was cozy, super clean, and well kept. The innkeepers were sweet and hospitable. We came downstairs a little after the stated breakfast time, but they still made us breakfast. The food was delicious, and I could've eaten so many more of those pancakes! We highly recommend it and will stay again someday. 😊❤️💕

We returned for a second year and spent two nights at the inn in early August. The hosts were gracious and welcoming, and the inn has a lot of charm. We stayed in the auxiliary house, where our room was comfortable and had a spacious bathroom with a great shower. The wide front porch was quiet and comfortable, and we enjoyed watching people pass by on their way to the beach just down the block. We'd love to return.

The location was fantastic, and we had a wonderful time in this lovely B&B. We wanted to stay in a historic house, and it delivered. Everything was very clean, and breakfast was lovely, especially the delicious French toast. A savory choice would have been nice, though, and better-quality pillows would help. The room got incredibly bright by sunrise, even with the shades, so blackout curtains would be useful. They may not be the prettiest feature, but the light was a lot. All in all, a wonderful experience at a fair rate.

Breakfast was delicious, with a perfectly cooked egg and fresh fruit. Our room was comfortable and charming, and it was an easy walk to the beach. Steve, Nancy and Meghan were gracious hosts, especially given the complexity of the current pandemic. We felt safe and appreciated how carefully they handled things. It was our first stay at this delightful B&B, and we plan to come back next year.
