We were in cottage 2 this year after staying in cottage 1 in previous years. Both are lovely cottages right on the beach, and the property is well maintained with plenty of accommodations. The master bedroom has an amazing view, and you can hear the ocean as you fall asleep. Good restaurants and different shops are easy to get to.

We’ve been staying in Cottage #1 for more than five years, and it’s incredible. Whitney and her staff look after the cottages so well, are friendly, and make sure we have what we need. Echo Motel and Oceanfront Properties feels like home away from home. Usually I’m ready to get back to my own house when vacation ends, but here I hate leaving and having to go home!

We’re already making plans to come back next year. Our family vacation with 14 people was wonderful, staying in cottage 2 and two motel rooms. Being right on the beach worked perfectly, and both types of accommodation were clean and very well maintained. Whitney and her family are so kind and welcoming. It felt like home.

The rooms and pool were both really spacious and clean, and we’ll definitely be back. My daughter and I had a little girls’ trip to OOB and stayed at the Echo Motel. Whitney and her staff were amazing, making sure everything we needed was taken care of. The location couldn’t have suited us better: ocean access just feet away, and downtown was an easy walk of about 10 minutes.

The beach was clean and not too crowded, and the boardwalk was close enough to walk to, with lots of shops, places to eat, arcade games, and amusement park rides. Keep some money handy if you’re bringing kids, since the boardwalk costs money. My wife and I stayed here for our 37-year anniversary. The room was small, but nice and clean, and had everything we needed. The beach is so close you could practically throw a rock and hit it. You’ll have a good time here and enjoy the hotel and beach.
