Hampton Inn San Francisco-Daly City

We sleep well here, and the area is easy to get around without city congestion, while still being close to SF. There’s a great Chinese restaurant across the street, plus lots more options within 10 minutes. We always stay when visiting SF, and the rooms are great, the staff friendly, and the hotel is pet friendly. Parking is free, though the lot can fill up, and there’s plenty of street parking nearby. The area stays clean and well stocked. Just know the water pressure is low, like at other California hotels, and breakfast isn’t anything special.

The main downside was the morning noise from housekeeping. We could hear them shouting to each other and vacuuming, which made sleeping in tough. Otherwise, everything was good, and I’d definitely stay again. The room was spacious and very clean, with a comfortable bed and pillows. The hotel was nicely decorated for Christmas, and the staff were friendly. We stayed with our dog on a road trip, and it’s pet friendly for an extra nightly fee. Breakfast was included from 6-10am and was pretty good. There’s also a laundry room and fitness room on site. There were food places nearby, including a great Chinese restaurant next door and Mr. Pickles Sandwhich shop beside the parking lot. Parking was usually available in the lot, though one night we came back late from getting food and had to park across the street. The car was fine, and the area felt safe enough.

Great for families. The staff are awesome, breakfast runs until 10, and checkout is at noon. There’s hot coffee and tea 24 hours, plus a board game room. It’s close to the highway, McDonald's, and In N Out. Definitely recommend, especially since it’s the only place in SF with both free parking and breakfast.

We got hungry around 3:30am, and Angelica at the front desk was so cheerful and helpful. She even made us coffee. The hotel should hold on to her, she’s a valuable employee.
